Ferrari Club
In one of their most unique fundraising opportunities, the Ferrari Club of Pasadena, CA invited the Kappa Omicron chapter to sing a short set at one of their holiday gatherings. Even though it was during the holidays, the performance did not request the singing of Christmas carols, leaving the small choir free to perform a more challenging set of male choral pieces and a few Sinfonia standards. Overall, the event turned out to be a wonderful experience for both the Ferrari Club and the Brothers involved. With more opportunities like this one, Kappa Omicron will continue to advance music in America starting with the greater Los Angeles area.
Flagstaff Trip
This past October five members of Kappa Omicron chapter at Long Beach State, traveled to Northern Arizona University's re-charting of their chapter. It was a long drive but we met up with brothers from across province 22 who were going to be in the ritual and show support for these new Sinfonians. Daniel Krueger, the Director of Alumni Engagement was in attendance and his presence was appreciated. His humor helped with the 7,000 ft elevation and cold temperatures. Overall it was great meeting the guys at Kappa Xi. Seeing the brotherhood and the hard work they put in to bring their chapter back was inspiring.
